Good Friday

My god my lord why have you forsaken me

U have forsaken me

Lord into your hands I surrender my sprite

This is the wood òf the cross on which the savior of the world is hung come let us adore

Today is good Friday and it is good because it is on this day jesus gave up himself on the wood of the cross so that we might live forever. This is the cross which hung the savior of the world. In the second part of the good Friday service we have the veneration of the cross.

We do not worship object we venerate or adore the object.  We have eucharistic adoration and many of us don't have a problem with it so why when we replace the eucharistic with the cross why there an uproar when it's the same thing we are adoring.

One of the profound statement made my jesus is my god my lord why have you forsaken me show that jesus was truly human even though he was Divine jesus was left all alone my his Disciple and even god but jesus continue with his father's mission down to the last letter and when it was done he gave up his spirit.

This shows us that we have to try our very best to remain strong in our trial and temptation even when there seems to be no hope. Why should we keep hope even when it is impossible look at the 2 thieves who were crucified with him 1 on the left 1 on the right. 1 of them lost hope because death was looking at him in the face thus he saw no reason to ask for forgiveness but the but the other one didn't lose hope even when death was looking at him in the face he ask for forgiveness and he was save at the 11th hour.  Remember that when u see 1 set of footprint in the sand remember that God is caring u thought the areas in your life which u can't handle don't jump out of his loving hands and do it alone always call on him.
