Veneration
The difference between veneration n worship
venerate is to regard with great respect or to revere.
Veneration can be defined as “respect or awe directed toward someone or
something which is earthly when the object is more important like the eucharist
we used the word adoration.
The simplest definition of worship is to “ascribe worth in
someone or something eg taking and ordinary object n adding meaning which is
not there.
Wen we venerate cross or adore the eucharist in eucharistic
adoration we are not putting or adding meaning to which it present so we are
not worshipping anything. The eucharist is the body of Christ not because we
say but because he said it. The cross is what our savior was hung an it's
because of this we can live forever.
Good Friday
My god my lord why have you forsaken me
U have forsaken me

This is the wood òf the cross on which the savior of the
world is hung come let us adore
Today is good Friday and it is good because it is on this
day jesus gave up himself on the wood of the cross so that we might live
forever. This is the cross which hung the savior of the world. In the second
part of the good Friday service we have the veneration of the cross.
We do not worship object we venerate or adore the
object. We have eucharistic adoration
and many of us don't have a problem with it so why when we replace the
eucharistic with the cross why there an uproar when it's the same thing we are
adoring.
One of the profound statement made my jesus is my god my
lord why have you forsaken me show that jesus was truly human even though he
was Divine jesus was left all alone my his Disciple and even god but jesus
continue with his father's mission down to the last letter and when it was done
he gave up his spirit.
This shows us that we have to try our very best to remain
strong in our trial and temptation even when there seems to be no hope. Why
should we keep hope even when it is impossible look at the 2 thieves who were
crucified with him 1 on the left 1 on the right. 1 of them lost hope because
death was looking at him in the face thus he saw no reason to ask for
forgiveness but the but the other one didn't lose hope even when death was
looking at him in the face he ask for forgiveness and he was save at the 11th
hour. Remember that when u see 1 set of
footprint in the sand remember that God is caring u thought the areas in your
life which u can't handle don't jump out of his loving hands and do it alone always
call on him.

Palm Sunday
Today we sing welcome into
Jerusalem let us go to god house but the question is Q1 how long is Jesus
Christ is king in our live is it a day a week a month a year because it took we
the crowd to shout crucify him 5 day later. We like to think that if we were
there we would have defended jesus but the truth we crucified him every day in
our actions n words so I ask how long is he king in our lives.
Q2 what crowd do we answer to is
it the crowd on palm Sunday which proclaimed jesus as king or is it the crowd
on on good Friday that shouted crucify him. Are we crowd followers do we go
with the crowd just to please the crowd or do we try to please both crowd if we
are we are begin lukewarm and we will be spit out we have to choose a crowd not
2 but 1.
Q3 who is king in our lives on
good Friday we the crowd made barrabus king in our lives instead of the king of
King we handed him over to die. Who we make king in our live will rain in us
let God rain in our lives and when it rain the rain are release into the world
so Q4 what spirit are we releasing into the world. We the crowd release
barabbas sprite back in our live rather than standing for jesus as we journey
through holy week let Keep these questions in our mind n hearts.
